Its lifespan is significantly extended compared to ordinary oil-impregnated bearings, reaching up to 40,000 hours, while retaining the advantages of oil-impregnated bearings. It is currently the mainstream bearing technology, and fans with this type of bearing hold a significant share in the cooling fan market. 3. Double Ball Bearing: This bearing uses two ball bearings. Inside the bearing, several tiny steel balls revolve around the axis. When the fan blades or shaft rotate, the steel balls rotate as well. Because they are spherical, friction is minimal, and there is no issue of oil leakage. The lifespan ranges from 50,000 to 100,000 hours. 4. Single Ball Bearing: This is an improvement over the traditional oil-impregnated bearing, combining sliding and rolling friction. It uses one ball bearing plus one oil-impregnated bearing to reduce the cost compared to double ball bearings. The rotor and stator are lubricated by the ball bearing and lubricating oil, with a lifespan of up to 40,000 hours.
